Fashionable Loungewear
There is a distinct line it would seem between loungewear and what is fashionable, what is acceptable. You can either sit around the house in those old, comfortable sweats, or you can wear jeans, blouses, and clothes that just aren’t quite as comfortable. There is no happy medium it would seem. You can either have loungewear and accept that you are not going outside any time soon, or you can get dressed, answer the door, mow your lawn, etc.
The good news is that there are possibilities. There are new options if you know where to look. You can get loungewear that is both stylish and as comfortable as it has ever been. While many believe that the only way to be that comfortable is to be in oversized plaid sweats, there are other options. Ranging from embroidered, satin-like pajamas to flannel nightgowns that are more fashionable than ever before, pajama sets, satin and cloth nightgowns, and many other patterns and options, loungewear can be made for winter, summer, fall, or spring, and they can range in colors and patterns to fit your personality!
Some people buy their loungewear at Victoria’s Secret, and I’ve seen more than one woman running around in Victoria’s Secret Pink. I’ve also seen more than one man in flannel sweatpants and yet running around the mall or other public places or events. Of course, when they get to the point of having random holes in them, most of us find that unacceptable. But when you go to the other extreme of wearing an entire outfit of “Pink” wherever you go, it is equally as unacceptable, a bit tacky depending on factors like age, and it can get expensive.
There is a happy medium. Yes, you can spend less and get more. You can get less common patterns, more simple patterns, the explosive patterns you are looking for, etc. You can get loungewear that actually appears appropriate for some of life’s events, and you can pick and choose what colors, patterns, materials, and everything else that you want. There are many different factors that go into fashionable or otherwise acceptable loungewear. The factors and their importance as compared to one another depend on you. But fortunately, there are companies, groups, and stores that offer options for every personality, size, age, and everyone else who might be looking for more fashionable and yet still comfortable loungewear.
