Spa Treatments For Skincare - September 30th, 2009

To be honest, I have no appreciation for things like cosmetic surgeries and so on. But I really have no appreciation, even less appreciation really for those spa treatments they literally charge you thousands of dollars for. There are certain groups of women who for some reason have a greater tendency to use them than others, and I won’t name any names. But this being said, there are certain ones that make you look like an idiot.

I mean microdermabrasion is one of a few spa treatments for skincare that actually works. It’s not the best way to go, because they take a metal brush and brush away layers of skin, it’s a bit scary to be quite honest. But on the other hand, they have fat injections, which frankly I hate having a fat face, I hate having the square face that I already have, it is horrible. So I don’t know why people would want to put more fat into their face. I mean I understand fat people tend to look younger, but come on!

The other big one is actually chemical peels. Yes, chemical peels can be performed in medical spas, and they often are. Well that and various other things. But chemical peels are one I really don’t like, because quite frankly they damage the skin while not really doing you any favors. But these are the kinds of things along with botox that you will often find in spa treatments for skincare. There is always a catch in other words.
